KB TEXTILE is a company that was just established in December 2017. Created through the joint investment of KB Tsuzuki K.K. and OSAKA SUGIMOTO, we began fully operating in January 2018 when we took over the sales of apparel textiles, bedding, home textiles, knits, and coats for KB Tsuzuki K.K.
KB Tsuzuki K.K. is strong in the domestic market, while OSAKA SUGIMOTO is strong in the overseas market. With the unique strengths of these two companies complimenting each other, we think KB TEXTILE can become a company that will help more customers across a wider area. Our goal is to become a fully independent company in three years.

KB TEXTILE Co., Ltd.
CEO Ryuichi Noro

Maximizing the synergy of two companies

This company was born of the former KB Tsuzuki K.K. textile business. One advantage to joining forces with OSAKA SUGIMOTO is that we can carry a wider variety of materials, such as cloth and other materials made overseas instead of just in Japan.
Using OSAKA SUGIMOTO's overseas base assets, we can also expand our products from textiles to needlework and expand the range of services we can provide.

This gives us infinite possibilities for synergistic combinations of the two companies' functions, quality management abilities, and personnel. For example, we can use KB Tsuzuki K.K.'s domestic production quality and prompt responsiveness.

Breaking free of product orientation

We want to change our stance from the product-oriented thinking typical of manufacturers to a market-oriented attitude so we can take on more new challenges with our clients.
We are the stagehands behind the scenes, so our stance of putting clients' needs first will not change. But in order to meet clients' needs optimally, we want to break free of product orientation so we can flexibly combine our production processes and work with our clients to find the ideal strategy.

Fortunately, we have wonderful clients in the fields of bedding, interior, and apparel, including knits and coats. It might take 1-2 years before we can fully demonstrate our value to these clients, but we will continue to work tirelessly to become even more useful to them.

Valuing intangible assets

We believe our future growth depends on how each of our departments use the potential we have gained through our alliance with OSAKA SUGIMOTO.
Although KB TEXTILE itself is a new company, we have the history, valuable know-how, and client base that have been cultivated since the time of KB Tsuzuki K.K. The OSAKA SUGIMOTO company also has over 60 years of history going back to its roots, so the trust and relationships both companies have cultivated with their clients throughout their history are our most valuable intangible assets.
It is our mission to treasure those intangible assets while also developing them to make new history.

I think that if we start to pursue synergy by expanding into newly acquired products and combining many options while remaining well aware of our strengths, we will naturally get results.
For that purpose, we will value our relationships with our clients even more than before as we move toward our vision for three years from now.
