This division produces textile products, mainly for OEM purposes, and we provide a complete service, taking charge of everything from the raw materials to the sewing.
We have developed our business as a textile trading company that can handle all kinds of textile products, including apparel, functional garments, and sleeping bags, and in recent years we have been challenging ourselves to provide integrated commercialization, encompassing everything from in-house design to manufacturing.
Our sewing partners include companies in China and Korea, and in recent years, have been expanding to companies in Southeast Asian countries such as Indonesia.
From OEM to in-house design and manufacturing
Dealing in finished textile products, this division is responsible for 70% of the company’s sales. We mainly undertake OEM work, being entrusted with every step of the process, from the order to procurement of materials, printing, and sewing.
By taking advantage of our strengths in raw materials and fabrics, we understand the the properties of textile products made of every type of fabric. Working together with our customers, we can make proposals and provide support on material selection and sewing, accommodating a wide variety of products.
In addition, as a new endeavor, we are working to expand our business to products designed in-house and our own proprietary brands, integrating every step from design to manufacture.
Returning value to Japan-made products
The Japanese textile industry has long been said to face severe difficulties. Conversely, however, trust in Japanese-made products and brand value is on the rise. The fabrics that our division handles are about 60% natural and 40% synthetic, but in both cases, their raw materials are 100% procured in Japan.
Our functional pajamas use fabric knitted and printed in Japan, while the sewing is performed in China, but the sense of confidence that Made in Japan provides is earning strong support from consumers. With Japan-based print design too, we can provide peace of mind to customers while keeping costs under control. Assessing the value that these Japan-made products provide, we ventured to set up a manufacturing base in Japan last year.
